Mycoten contains the synthetic fungicidal broad spectrum antifungal agent, Clotrimazole chemically identified as Bisphenyl-(2-chlorophenyl)-1-imidazolymethane

INDICATIONS:
Mycoten cream (clotrimazole 1%) effective in the treatment of fungal skin infections due to Deramatophytes w.g. tricophyton species, yeast, e.g. Candida species, moulds, and other fungal such as Tinea Capitis. Tinea Cprporis, Tinea mannum, Tinea Barbae, Tinea Cruris, Tinea Pedis (athlte's Foot) Pityriasis Versicolor, Erythrasma

Mycoten Vaginal Tablets or Pressaries (clotrimazole 100mg) is indicated for the local treatment of patients with vaginal yeast infections such as Candida albicans, other Candida Species and vaginal infections caused by Trichomonas Vaginalis

Mycoten Vaginal cream (clotrimazole 1% 35g with applicator) is indicated for the local treatment of patients with vaginal yeast infections such as Candida albicans, other Candida species and VAGINAL INFECTIONS CAUSED by Trichomonas Vaginalis

Mycoten SOLUTION (clotrimazole 2%) effective in the treatment of fungal nail infections, ringworm, pityriasis of the hairy skin and breast fold

Mycoten ATHLETE'S FOOT POWDER (clotrimazole 2%) effective in the treatment of Athlete's foot (Tinea Pedis)

CONTRA INDICATIONS
Mycoten preparations are contra indicated in individuals who have shown hypersensitivity to Clotrimazole Components as the case may be.

PRECAUTIONS
If local irritation or allergic reaction should occur, the treatment should be discontinued.

Mycoten vaginal tablets and Mycoten vaginal cream are very effective in the treatment of viganl candidisis accociated with pregnancy but should be prescribed with caution during the first trimester.

Note: the vaginal tablet is preferred during pregnancy since it can be inserted without applicator.

Dosage and administration
Mycoten Cream 20g
is thinly applied to the affected parts and rubbed in two or three times daily. Duration of treatment could be up to 24weeks depending on the extent and site infection.

Mycoten Vaginal Tablets (100mg x 6)
Mycoten vaginal tablets (100mg) should be inserted deep into the vagina once daily using the applicator supplied and preferably at bedtime. Mycoten Tablet is effective when applied for 3 or 6 or 14 days.

Mycoten Vaginal CREAM 35g
One completely filled applicator should be inserted deep into the vagina, and preferably at night, for six consecutive days.

Note: in case of candida infections of both sexual partners, they should at the same time be treated with Mycoten cream.

Mycoten SOLUTION (CLOTRIMAZOLE 2%)
Should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected parts, two to three times daily. For athletes foot wash the feet especially between the toes, wipe dry before applying the solution. Continue treatment for 2 weeks after symptoms have disappeared

Mycoten ATHLETE'S FOOT POWDER 20g Should be applied to the affected parts once or several time daily.

Mycoten cream is available as clotrimazole 1% dermal cream in 20g tube
Myvoten vaginal tablet is available as clotrimazole 100mg base tablets in foil. Pack of 6 tablets with applicator. Mycoten vaginal cream is available as clotrimazole 1% in 35g tube with applicator. Mycoten solution is available as clotrimazole 2% in 25ml plastic bottle. Mycoten powder is available as clotrimazole 2% in 20g pack
